Serving Prime Contractors

For nearly a decade, Walls Trucking has served prime contractors throughout the northeast Illinois area and participated as a subcontractor on scores of major road construction projects for the various state and municipal transportation departments.

‍Central Blacktop Co. Inc.: Working with Central Blacktop as a subcontractor, Walls Trucking participated on the 75th Street Reconstruction Project in Darien, Illinois, a project of the Du Page County Division of Transportation. The work involved reconstructing and widening 75th Street, between Route 83 and California Avenue, from two lanes in each direction to three lanes in each direction. The $12.7 million project included new sewers, landscaping and pavement resurfacing. Walls transported dirt, broken concrete and broken asphalt away from the project site; the company transported new gravel and new asphalt into the project site. Walls Trucking has served as a subcontractor for Central Blacktop on numerous projects since 2014.

‍Bigane Paving Company:  Walls Trucking served as a subcontractor for Bigane Paving Company on the Chicago Department of Transportation’s North Lake Shore Drive Resurfacing project, between Oak Street and Grand Ave. The company hauled away milling and hauled in asphalt and special pea gravel. The $2.5 million repaving project gave North Lake Shore Drive its first resurfacing in 16 years. Bigane Paving specializes in asphalt paving and site development and does milling and resurfacing work. Walls Trucking has served as a subcontractor for Bigane Paving since 2014.

‍K-Five Construction Corporation: Walls Trucking participated as a subcontractor for K-Five Construction Corporation on the Midway Airport Runway Reconstruction Project in 2015, the airport’s first major runway reconstruction in decades. Walls Trucking transported broken asphalt, dirt, concrete and base stone away from the project site. The company transported virgin and recycled base materials and special mix asphalt into the job site. Walls Trucking has served as a subcontractor for K-Five Construction since 2014. K-Five Construction is one of the largest heavy highway paving contractors in the State of Illinois.

‍R.W Dunteman:  Walls Trucking has performed as a subcontractor for R.W. Dunteman on various projects in Schaumburg, Wheaton, Schiller Park and other areas throughout the Chicago area.
