Founded by the family patriarch, Hugo Paredes in 1999, the company grew by word of mouth, based on a reputation for reliability and quality work.
Hugo’s son, Jason Paredes, joined the company in 2005. Jason sought to build on his father’s legacy by diversifying the company’s hauling services and expanding the markets it serves. His focus was to increase the company’s fleet and acquire more specialized trucks that would enable the company to take on a greater variety of jobs. Using the same company model for reliability and quality work, Walls Trucking has grown to become one of the most trusted sources for specialized dump truck hauling in the northeast Illinois areas.
Today, Walls Trucking hires a full-time staff of eight and maintains an assorted fleet of late model, name brand trucks and trailers. The company is a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), and a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) with the City of Chicago and Central Management Services with the State of Illinois, Business Enterprise Program (BEP).
Walls Trucking is a licensed general business with the City of Chicago and a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local Union #786.
